Lorraine M. Laskowski, age 75, of Elizabeth, Illinois, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2006 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Elizabeth, Illinois. Celebrant will be Father Christopher Kuhn. Memorials maybe made to FHN Hospice Care in Freeport, Illinois.
Lorraine was born May 21, 1930 in Brookfield, Illinois the daughter of Karol and Mary (Kraus) Kosiec. On August 7, 1948, Lorraine married Florian F. Laskowski in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away February 9, 1990.
Lorraine was a Certified Nursing Assistant, she worked thirteen years for Holy Family Villa in Lemont, Illinois. Lorraine was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elizabeth.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading, most of all she loved and enjoyed her family.
Lorraine will be deeply missed by her son, Lawrence Laskowski of South Bend, Indiana; three daughters, Camille (Thomas) Bochlas of Port Richey, Florida, Deborah (Ernest) Uebel of Big Rock, Illinois and Dawn (Michael) Jaggers of Marseilles, Illinois; one brother, Leon (Fella) Kosiec of Russout, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren, Camille, John, Daniel, Kristopher, Deborah, Kristin, Katrina, Karol and Derek; three great grandchildren, Kamon, Keanan and Raevon.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Florian, and one sister, Lillian Dybal.
