Lois A. Fosdick

Lois A. Fosdick, age 76, of Savanna, Illinois, died Saturday, August 4, 2012, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at the Law – Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, August 10, at the Savanna Township Cemetery, Savanna.
Lois was born February 6, 1936, in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Leo and Velva (Wentz) Robertson. She was united in marriage to Frank F. Fosdick on November 18, 1977 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2009.
Lois was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed being outdoors whenever possible, whether it was flower gardening, fishing or hunting for morel mushrooms. She also enjoyed going gambling on the river boats.
Lois is survived by two sons, William A. (Judith) Crist of Savanna, Illinois, and John P. ( Fiance Luanne Beinke) Crist of Rock Island, Illinois; and one sister, Joyce (Russ) Corbett of Savanna, Illinois. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank F. Fosdick.
