Linda S. Miller, age 58, of Preston, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at her home in rural Preston. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Preston. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Preston. Burial will follow in the Preston Cemetery. Linda was born June 29, 1952, in Bellevue, Iowa, the daughter of Harold B. and Maxine (Michels) Kueter. She graduated from Bellevue High School with the Class of 1970, and attended Clinton Community College. Linda married Robert Miller on April 22, 1972, in Bellevue. Linda was a clerk at Anderson’s Pharmacy in Preston for many years. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Preston. Linda enthusiastically supported her children’s hobbies, including Preston Athletics and FFA among others. She loved living in the country and taking care of her home, decorating for each holiday or occasion. She particularly enjoyed organizing get-togethers with her family and many cherished friends, and her Saturday and Sunday rides with Bob. But the light of her life were her grandchildren and they will all miss her dearly. Linda is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Bob Miller of Preston; two daughters, Amy (Tracy) Kleese of Washington, Iowa, and Lisa (Ryan) Woodward of Lewis, Iowa; one son, Kevin (Claudia) Miller of Ely, Iowa; six grandchildren, Adlie Miller, Lincoln, Sophia, and Abigail Kleese, and Malena and Reid Woodward; and sixteen siblings, Jim (Lisa) Kueter, Harold (Mitzi) Kueter Jr., Ruth (Duane) Tietjen, Rita (Jim) Reuss, Nita Underwood, Loren Kueter, Donna (Len) Timmerman, Doug (Roxey) Kueter, Joyce (Dennis) Kloft, Rhonda Kueter, Mary Kay Leighton, Sharon Kueter, Alan Kueter, Annette (Duane) Sullivan, Tina (Ridge) Willard, and Jean Vogel. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and her father and mother in–law, Arnold and Katie Miller.
