Linda Kinder

Linda Kinder, age 67, of Savanna, Illinois passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna. A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2016 at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. A memorial gathering will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given in Linda's memory for Heartland Pet Welfare, Savanna.
Linda was born January 5, 1949, the daughter of George W. Hubble and Georgia F. Hubble (Lingle) in Savanna. She attended Savanna High School and completed her GED. Linda married Bruce Kinder in Mt. Carroll, Illinois, on October 5, 1968. They celebrated 37 years of marriage and raised four sons together. Bruce passed away May 21, 2006.
Linda worked at Big Meadows in Savanna for many years as a nurses’s aide and physical therapist. She then transferred to Pinnacle Place where she later retired. Linda had a great fondness for animals and, like Bruce, especially for Labrador Retrievers. She loved spending time with her family and going on boat rides on the Mississippi River.
Linda will be deeply missed by her four sons, Tracy (Natalie) Kinder of Ripon, WI, Marty (Betsy) Kinder, Ty (Stephanie) Kinder and Tony (Lisa) Kinder, all of Savanna; 10 grandchildren, Andrea, Heidi, Michael, Brady, Brandon, Bryson, Katie, Stacy, Jerica, and Sean; one great-grandson Jaxson; four brothers Mike (Amy) Hubble, Todd (Tanya) Hubble of Camanche, Iowa, Lonnie (Tammy) Hubble, of Pheonix, Arizona and Mark Wagner of Dekalb, Illinois; one brother-in-law Richard (Patty) Kinder of Trinidad, Colorado and two sisters-in-law Lynda Johnson of San Diego, California and Kathy Hubble of Carol Stream, IL.; and many nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her husband Bruce; brother, Terry Hubble; and both parents.
