Skosh had a unique appearance that was not to be mistaken by any other. He was an avid collector of guns, he enjoyed hunting, classic cars, particularly Corvettes, and he enjoyed spending time at the drag strip when he could. Skosh loved dogs especially his St. Bernard, "King" that he had as a child, and Ruger, a black lab he and his son raised and enjoyed together. Skosh worked in the agriculture field in the Milledgeville, Lanark & Mt. Carroll area over the years, including VanBuskirk Farms and several implement and agriculture businesses in the area.
He is survived by his son, Jordan Fossett of Mt. Carroll; his mother, Jean Gerdes of Tampico, Illinois; and a brother, Lynn Fossett of Leaf River, Illinois. Skosh is preceded in death by his father, Clayton, and his grandparents, which include his beloved Grandmother Cora "Mott" Fossett who helped raise him as child, and including the Reverend Cyrus Pollard who served the Mt. Carroll area.
