LeRoy Lichamer, age 80, of Lanark, IL died Friday, February 6, 2015, at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Illinois. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial fund has been established in LeRoy’s memory.
LeRoy was born January 19, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter and Marie (Televaka) Lichamer. He worked for many years as an operations manager for Western Buckle in Chicago. LeRoy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. On May 30, 1977, LeRoy married JoAnn Schmidt in Las Vegas, Nevada. JoAnn passed away on May 7, 2013.
LeRoy will be dearly missed by four daughters, Carolyn (Carl Palucki) Perkins of Antioch, IL, Linda (Jerry Wolf) Moscon of Hazleton, Illinois, Camille (Jeff) Toman of Lemont, Illinois, and Gloria (Michael) Perozzi of Berwyn, Illinois; two daughters, Dana Lee Lichamer of Berwyn, Illinois, and Julee (Scott) Atkinson of Woodstock, Illinois; a step-son, Anthony (Laurie) Matrisciano of Shorewood, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn; and his parents.
