Leonard Lee Kosier age 81, of Savanna, Illinois passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, Iowa. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Leonard was born on January 21, 1925, the son of Frank and Mary (Thulen) Kosier. Leonard attended Savanna School’s. Leonard married Roberta Law. Roberta passed away on October 29, 1987.
Leonard worked as a painter of homes for many years and he also worked for John Deere. He was a long time member of the American Legion in Savanna, Illinois. Leonard enjoyed fishing, morel mushroom hunting, and spending time with his family and dog “Baby”.
Leonard is survived by his son, Bob (Sherri) Law of Savanna, Illinois; his daughter Selene Seiler, of Byron, Illinois; a sister Bernice Shackelford, of Savanna, Illinois; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Roberta, a special friend Irene Kullman, two brothers Paul and LeRoy Kosier, and his sister Vivian Mullin.
