Leanna "Uggy" Miller

Leanna F. “Uggy” Miller, age 40, of Hanover, Illinois, went peacefully to join her mother Saturday, August 4, 2012, at her home in Hanover. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at the Law – Jones Funeral Home in Hanover. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, at Law – Jones Funeral Home, Hanover.
Leanna was born July 30, 1972, in Dixon, Illinois, the daughter of James and Judy (Fisher) Miller. She graduated from River Ridge High School. Leanna went to work for Invensys as a machine operator in Hanover in 1999, and worked there until she was no longer able. She was very meticulous and always had her lawn mowed perfectly. Leanna enjoyed Halloween, playing cards, camping, fishing and going tubing on the river for hours. She had an excellent sense of humor and was always fun to be around. Leanna loved spending time with her family and her many friends.
Leanna is survived and lovingly remembered by two sisters, Terri Miller of Dixon, Illinois, and Becky Henkins of Stockton, Illinois; three brothers, James Fisher of Florida, Robert Henkins of LaSalle, Illinois, and Charlie Henkins of Hanover, Illinois; eight nieces and nephews, Taylor, Marshall, Alec, Maddy, Gabby, Brandon, Dominick and Hayley; her special friend, Jenny Buchanan of Hanover; and many cousins and good friends.

Leanna was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gary Henkins.
