Laurie (Hulseberg) Miller

Laurie (Hulseberg) Miller, age 53, of Savanna, Illinois, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 in St. Frances Hospital, Peoria, Illinois. Memorials may be in Laurie’s memory.
Laurie was born June 20, 1957, the daughter to Charles and Mary (Kampas) Hulseberg in Savanna. She was brought up in Savanna by her mother and step-dad, Wesley Coverdill. She graduated from Savanna High School, Class of 1974.
Laurie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, life was a challenge, but, she worked hard and strived to better each of their lives. Family meant everything to her, and she kept her kids close and taught them to stay close and love each other.
Laurie worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Savanna and at one time in California; she also worked for DURA Automotive, Mount Carroll, IL; Dollar General, Savanna and Eaton Corporation, Savanna. Laurie enjoyed traveling and collecting Angels.
Laurie will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Michelle (Jacob Dick) Fisher of Fulton and Jessica (Ross) Budimlija of Savanna; two sons, Jason (fiancé Colene Flammang ) Miller of Fulton and Ricky Cass of Savanna; and eleven grandchildren; her mother, Mary Coverdill of Savanna and four brothers, Jon Coverdill of California, Wesley (Naomi) Coverdill of Chadwick, Dennis (Carol) Hulseberg of Williamsburg, Iowa, Jeffrey Coverdill of Thomson; three sisters, Sharon Coverdill, Kathee (Steve) Hazen and Amy Kosier, all of Savanna.
Laurie is preceded in death by both fathers, Charles Hulseberg and Wesley Coverdill; one brother, Wesley Coverdill, Jr. and twin brothers at birth; a special niece, Karianne Hazen and great nephew, Tyler DeBord.
