Kenneth Traum, Jr.,

Kenneth Traum, Jr., age 76, of Mt. Carroll, Illinois passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at FHN Hospital, Freeport, Illinois. Private family services will be held. Kenneth was born October 2, 1934 in Mt. Carroll the son of Kenneth and Florence (Smith) Traum, Sr. He was a 1952 graduate of the Mt. Carroll High School. Kenneth served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean War. Upon returning from his service in the Army he attended the University of Illinois where he received his Law Degree in 1962. Kenneth married Rita (Sprinkle) Rivera in 1980. Kenneth was a partner at the law firm of Kostantacos, Traum, Reuterfors & Mc Williams in Rockford, Illinois for over thirty years, retiring in 1997. He is survived by a son, Kenneth (Marcella) Traum, III of Riverside, California and a daughter, Taylor Traum of Edinbourgh, Scotland; and three grandchildren. Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife, Rita; a brother, Sam; and both parents
