Kenneth Buck

Kenneth R. Buck, age 76, of Madison, Wisconsin, formerly of Mt. Carroll, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at his home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. until time of service Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll. Burial will take place in Oak Hill cemetery.
Ken was born July 24, 1937, the son of Kenneth and Helen (Notz) Buck. He attended Mt. Carroll High School, graduating with the Class of 1956. He married Judith A. Holverson on May 12, 1962. She died January 4, 1992 in Monroe, Wisconsin.
Ken worked for Microswitch (Honeywell) in Freeport, Illinois for many years. He was a member of the Catholic Church, and enjoyed reading his westerns, particularly Louis L’Amour, volunteering at numerous organizations, fishing and playing card games.
Ken will be dearly missed by his daughter, Candi (Timothy) Richardson along with his two granddaughters, Abigail and Faith, both of Belmont, Wisconsin; one sister-in-law, Carol Buck of Freeport, Illinois, and two nieces. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judith, his parents Kenneth and Helen, and his brother Richard.
