Kenneth W. Brown died peacefully on October 5 at Javon Bea in Rockford. Kenny was born on May 22, 1941 in Savanna to Wayne and Charlotte Miller Brown. He graduated from Savanna High School in 1959 and went to work on the Milwaukee Railroad. Kenny worked for Nitrin and retired as a supervisor at 3M both in Cordova.
In 1969, he married Pamela Mickelson and was the parent to five children: Steve (Rita), Hanover; Barbara Ritchie (Joe), Savanna; Brian (Robin), Thomson; Jennifer of St Charles and Bradley of Savanna. He enjoyed all 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and siblings: Keith (Penny), Karen (Don) Nolte, and Beverly (Dick) Grissinger. Kenny enjoyed 8-ball leagues, hunting and fishing with his children and buddies: Jack Thulen and Clarence Flack. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Brown.
A Celebration of Life is on Saturday, October 8 starting at noon at Elliott Hall. An inurnment of ashes will be at a later date. The family would like to thank the caring staff at all FHN facilities and Javon Bea in Rockford.
