Kelly R. Kelchner, age 39, of Center Junction, Iowa, formerly of Savanna, Illinois, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. Cremation rites will be accorded. Services will be held at a later date.
Kelly was born December 13, 1971, in Sycamore, Illinois, the son of Roger and Harriet (McGuire) Kelchner Sr. Kelly enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his ATV, and working on his Oldsmobile Cutlass. Most importantly, Kelly loved spending time with his children. Together they would watch “The Simpson’s”, “Family Guy”, and “Futurama.”
Kelly is survived by one daughter, Brittany Kelchner of Anamosa, Iowa; one son, Aaron Kelchner of Anamosa; his wife Valeree Kelchner of Anamosa; his mother, Harriet Kelchner; one sister, Debbie (Ben) Fisher of Savanna, Illinois; and three brothers, Andy Kelchner of Bureau, Illinois, Dan (Wanda) Kelchner of LaMoille, Illinois, and Roger Kelchner Jr. of Mendota, Illinois.
Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Roger Kelchner Sr.; one sister, Veronica Knapp; and one brother, Roger James Kelchner.
