Kathy Ann Bishop

Kathy Ann Bishop, age 58 passed away on June 22, 2018 in Reno, Nevada. Kathy was born on August 16, 1959 in Texarkana, Texas to Helen (Faulkner) and Don Marburger. She grew up in Herlong, California and moved to Iowa with her family in 1974 where she graduated from East Central High School in Miles.

Kathy spent her best years with loving friends and family in Iowa City, Iowa where she enjoyed working in the travel business, always looking for the next best vacation destination. Her love for travel and Iowa Football was fulfilled while planning group trips to Hawkeye bowl games. Kathy loved animals especially her dogs. She loved singing out loud to any Lionel Richie song and always cheered for the underdog.

Kathy is preceded in death by parents Helen and Don Marburger. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Ashley and Rick Rauth; grandchildren Bennett and Ford Rauth all of Los Angeles; brothers Mike (Alison) and David (Peggy) Ross of Reno and numerous cousins and friends throughout Iowa.

There will be a private family service in Miles, Iowa where Kathy will be buried next to her parents. The family asks that you be kind throughout your days and always lead with love.
