Judith "Judy" Teske

Judith “Judy” P. Teske, age 65, of Thomson, Illinois passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at home. A funeral will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, Illinois. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in Judy’s memory.
Judy was born July 22, 1949 in Berwyn, Illinois the daughter of Michael and Pauline (Letrich) Strbak. Judy’s parents passed away and she was adopted by Edwin and Mildred Anderson. She graduated from Morton West High School in Berwyn and attended Morton College in Cicero, Illinois. She worked as a bank teller, tax preparer at Mr. Tax , claims processor for Wausau Insurance in Lisle, Illinois and as a phone operator at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois. Judy married the love of her life Kieth Elmer Teske on May 30, 1970. Kieth passed away in January 1991 in Berwyn.
Judy enjoyed playing canasta, computers, reading and doing puzzle books. She was a member of the Jobs Daughters, and past honored queen Bethel 39, Berwyn. Judy loved spending time with her family and friends, but she treasured being able to spoil her grandkids.
Judy will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Sharon (Donald) Irvine of Savanna, Illinois, Karon Teske of Thomson; four grandchildren, Kristopher (Samantha) Teske of Clinton, Iowa, Krystallynn Teske-Irvine of Savanna, Derek Teske of Thomson, Krystina Irvine of Savanna; one great grandson, Kaprian Teske of Clinton. Judy is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kieth.
