Judith K. “Judy” Dayboll, age 70, of Lanark, Illinois, went to be with the Lord Savior on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Good Samaritan Society, Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Cremation rites have been accorded. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Lanark First Brethren Church, Lanark. A memorial gathering will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015, at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Judy’s memory.
Judy was born to Eugene and Nellie (Campbell) Dayboll on February 8, 1945. Judy was a member of the Lanark First Brethren Church where she served with the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and writing letters to her many pen pals. She especially enjoyed her family; her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as her church family. She dedicated her life to taking care of her mom and was always there for her family.
Judy is survived by two sisters, Patti (Marv) Eacker of Argo Fay, Illinois, and Carol (Micheal) Miller of Dyersville, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Bev Dayboll of Mt. Carroll, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Nellie Dayboll; a brother, Eugene “Butch” Dayboll; and her grandparents.
