Judy was born March 21, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Rita (McRoberts) Lewis. She graduated from Chadwick High School with the class of 1955. On September 1, 1955, Judy married Raymond "Tom" Adolph in Fairhaven. After Tom’s service in the Army which included a stay in Germany, they would go on to have two sons and celebrate 58 years of marriage before Tom's passing in 2013.
Judy was a devoted Christian, supportive farm wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sending a daily devotional message to her kids and grandkids. She loved to cook and collect recipes. Her Thanksgiving meal was second to none. She was artistic, enjoyed knitting, collecting glass shoes, and appreciating the wonders of nature. During her 5 year residency at Resthave Assisted living, she could be found walking the hallways to get in her steps - always wearing lipstick, earrings, and a friendly smile. She was a special lady to all that had a chance to meet her and will be greatly missed.
Judy is survived by two sons, Tim (Ellen) Adolph of Chadwick and Dave (Renee) Adolph of Morrison; five granddaughters, Jenna (Reid) Yochem of Mount Carroll, Alissa (Rob) Barajas of Morrison, Hannah (Nathan) Von Holten of Morrison, Justine (Matthew) Reinhart of Fulton, and Olivia (Benjamin) Rowan of Fulton, 11 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Vernon (Junior) Adolph; and special friend Ray Dykstra. She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband.
