Joseph D Crisci

Joseph D. Crisci, age 58 of Thomson, Illinois died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at home. Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011 in the St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Savanna, Illinois. Memorials may be given to the Epilepsy Foundation Greater Chicago, 17 N. State St. Suite 1300, Chicago, Illinois 60602 in Joe’s memory.
Joe was born on April 22, 1953, the son of Sam and Harriett (Clark) Crisci in Savanna, Illinois. He attended Savanna High School, graduating with the Class of 1971. Joe worked for the Milwaukee Rail Road and resided in Hanover Park, IL for several years. As an outdoors man, he volunteered with the local wildlife preserve. Joe was an avid coin collector and photographer. He also thoroughly enjoyed assisting the elderly. But most of all, Joe loved passing the time with his beloved friends and family.
Joe will be dearly missed by his son, Anthony Crisci of Santa Barbara, California; daughter, Shauna (Ben) Ernst of Carol Stream, Illinois; four grandchildren, Benny, Ashton, Alex, Alayna; a brother, Ray Black; a sister, Charlene (Jim) Hunter of Sparta, Wisconsin; two nieces; two nephews; and several cousins. Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
