Jordan Conner Lee Havens

March 11, 2005 — April 13, 2026

Hanover, IL

Jordan Conner Lee Havens (born March 11, 2005) died Monday, April 13, 2026 due to a tragic accident — With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we remember Jordan Conner Lee Havens, a bright, kind, and loving son, brother, grandson, boyfriend, friend and teammate.

Jordan grew up in Hanover and graduated from River Ridge Schools with the Class of 2023. From a young age he stood out for his quick mind and easy smile — excelling in math, helping classmates, and earning honor‑student recognition. In middle school he played baseball, football and basketball and was an active member of FFA. Jordan’s warm, playful spirit and goofy sense of style (hoodies, cowboy boots, and rubber‑duck pants included) could light up any room.

A devoted family man at heart, Jordan loved working alongside his family — whether tagging along in the logging business as a child with Dad, or teaming up with his brother Dayan at Mid States Concrete. He was a natural peacemaker, always ready to help, encourage and lift others up. Jordan’s laughter, hugs and readiness to take someone under his wing left an impression on everyone who knew him.

Jordan cherished his relationships deeply. He was engaged to Amairakiss Owen, and loved sharing music, church at River Church, Seahawks football, and countless everyday moments — from egg sandwiches made by Mom to late‑night gaming and time spent with siblings, cousins and friends. He was generous, compassionate and unfailingly loyal, the kind of person who made others feel special and loved.

He will be dearly missed by his parents, Anthony (Ashley Foley) Havens of Hanover, and Krista (Sam) Groezinger of Elizabeth; his Fiance Amairakiss Owens; four brothers and two stepbrothers, Dayan (Hallie) Havens and Kyler Havens of Hanover, Bryson Greene of Elizabeth, and Clayton Havens of Hanover; two stepbrothers, Rafe (Raylene) Groezinger of Elizabeth, and Lane Groezinger of Elizabeth; and three stepsisters, Lydia (Yahir) Vasquez of Wilmington, NC, and Lynnea (Braydon) Groezinger of Platteville, WI and Gwen Greene of Elizabeth. He is also survived by several grandparents, Terry (Jenny) Havens, Teresa (Ron Stines) Stuhldryer, Harold (Kelly) Foley, Richard (Monica) Groezinger, and Mildred (Jimmy) Steffes; his great grandmother, Janet Stuhldryer, along with extended family and many close friends who will forever carry his memory.

Jordan’s presence brought people together. Jordan is preceded in death by grandparents, Larry Bell, Clyde (Irene) Havens, Sandra (JB) Chester, William Canon and Sterling Stuhldryer.

A celebration of Jordan’s life will be held 1pm Friday, April 24, 2026 at River Church, Clinton, Iowa. Visitation will be held 4-8pm Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Law Jones Funeral Home in Hanover, Illinois.
