John P. Beegle

John P. Beegle, age 63 of Hanover passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Dubuque, Iowa. Cremation will take place, Private Services will be held and John’s ashes will be scattered on the family farm.
John was born March 22, 1943 the son of Joseph and Ruth (Holtz) Beegle, in Berwyn, Illinois. John entered the United States Army and served in Vietnam, after returning home he was stationed at the Savanna Army Depot and completed his military career with rank of Master Sergeant. Following the military, he continued to work at the Depot until retirement.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, farming, and now will be returned to the land that he loved. John was a member of the Hanover Ambulance Board.
John will be dearly missed by his mother, Ruth Beegle of Hanover; son, Matt Beegle of Hanover; two daughters, Lee Ann (Perry) Vesley of Hanover and Amy Beegle of Galena; three grandchildren, Robert, Jac and Jered; a step-grandchild, Holly Haring; one brother, Mark Beegle of Shorewood, Illinois and one sister, Lucretia (Ed) Valle of Austin, Texas. John is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Beegle.
