Jerry J. Parisi

Jerry J. Parisi, of Hanover, IL, passed away Sunday, December 31. A private family funeral service will be held.

Jerry was born September 30, 1970, son of Jasper and Linda (Schaffer) Parisi. He grew up in Chicago, IL. Around 1995 Jerry moved to Hanover, IL, with his family to pursue new opportunities. He continued his career in construction and found odd jobs working with his hands. Jerry was a man of many talents and could fix anything he set his mind to. He worked tirelessly to ensure his children had everything they needed. His main motivation was to give his children a better life than he had.

Jerry’s proudest accomplishment was being a father to his three beautiful children. Family was the center of his life, and he loved the time he spent with his kids. He especially loved fishing with his youngest, even though she would catch the most fish. Everything Jerry did was for his family.

Jerry will be dearly missed by his three children, Jason (Carrie) Parisi of Hanover, Amber (Justin) Daughenbaugh of Thomson, IL, and Alaina Parisi of Hanover; three grandchildren, Edwin and Emerson Daughenbaugh, and Maverick Parisi; his mother, Linda J. Parisi of Hanover; his siblings, Cindy (Vincent) Arriaga of Chicago, Peter Parisi of Hanover, and Paul Parisi of Chicago; and his sister-in-law, Michelle Parisi of Georgia. Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Jasper, and his brothers, Jay, and Tony.
