Jerry D. Nielsen, age 66 of Savanna, Illinois, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna. In accordance with Jerry’s wishes his body will be donated to the Biological Resource Center of Illinois. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date in the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois.
