Jerry Keith Anderson

Jerry Keith Anderson, 51, passed away Saturday June 19, 2021 at his home in Shannon, where he resided the last three months of his life. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a celebration of life to follow on a later date.

Jerry was born December 10, 1969 to Glenn and Mary (Reuber) Anderson in Rockford Illinois. He graduated from Eastland High School in 1988. After he graduated, he went to Bradley University where he graduated with an industrial engineering degree. He worked at Elkay in Lanark, Haldex in Rockford, and then moved to Lexington, Kentucky in 2004 where he worked at Webasto until 2020. Jerry came home to Shannon March 27, 2021, to be near his family.

Jerry was a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan for many years and loved to watch the games. He loved to joke around and make people laugh. He made everyone feel welcome and made sure you had a smile on your face. He loved spending time with friends and family, especially his great niece and nephews. Although he lived a full life, even facing difficult illnesses, he never let it get him down. He loved life and lived life to the fullest. Jerry was loved by all that met him and will be missed by all who loved him.

Jerry will be dearly missed by his dad Glenn Anderson and companion Marion, his mom and step dad Mary and Randy Reuber, sister Cindy Moll, nephew Travis Anderson, niece and husband Ashley and Nick Strehlow, great niece and great nephews Hayden, Lucas, and Jackson Strehlow, Step grandparents Lois and Merle Reuber, 6 aunts Margie and uncle Bob Roiland, Rita Gilbert, Mona Devore, Cheryl Chan, Vicky and uncle Jeff Opstedal, many cousins, and best friends Leslie and Rocky Muniz.

Jerry is predeceased by his grandparents Norman and Ada Anderson, Arvil and Ellen Devore, step grandmother Betty Devore, an uncle Orville Chan, and an aunt Martha Morris.
