Jennifer Nicole Hofman, age 31 of Savanna, Illinois, died at 7:15 p.m. on February 14, 2016 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, Clinton, Iowa. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall.
Jennifer was born June 28, 1984, the loving daughter of Greg and Patty Fields. On September 1, 2007, she married the love of her life, Brendan R. Hofman. They have a two year old daughter, Hallie Jade Hofman at home. On October 3, 1998 she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Jennifer is survived by her husband and daughter, her parents, Greg and Patty Fields of West Burlington, IA. Two brothers, Jonathan and his fiancé Erin of Bloomington, IL and Jordan (Michele) of Burlington, IA. Her dear loving mother and father-in-law, Ted and Marilyn Hofman, also of Savanna. Also surviving her are her maternal grandfather, Ray Jones of Auburn, IL and her paternal grandmother, Sherry Fields of Havana, IL as well as Jacob Hofman of Savanna. She also has many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Don Fields and her grandmother, Anna Jones.
Jennifer brought joy into the lives of everyone she knew. Her beautiful smile and laughter were contagious, and she shared this unselfishly with everyone. She loved her husband, and her family dearly and especially her baby girl, Hallie. She also cared for people in general and had a real desire to help them in any way she could. She was a positive influence on every life she touched. She loved life and had strong faith in God’s promises for a better future.
She touched the lives of so many people in such a nice, kind way. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and playing the piano. She will be dearly missed.
