Jeffrey L. Manning

Jeffrey L. Manning, age 16 of Mt. Carroll, died Saturday, February 24, 2007. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home in Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Cremation will take place following the service. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jeffrey was born in Carbondale, Illinois, on June 12, 1990, the son of Vickie Wilson and Jeffrey E. Manning. He attended the Regional Alternative School and Mt. Carroll High School, where he played football. He enjoyed writing poetry and playing his guitar and singing with his fellow musicians. But most of all he enjoyed being with his friends and family, and shooting pool and throwing darts.
Jeffrey will be dearly missed by his parents; his brothers Steven (Sylvia) Boner of Thompsonville, Illinois, and Cody Wilson of Mt. Carroll, Illinois, Dakota Manning of Galatia; his sisters, Amanda Boner of Mt. Carroll, Tianaya Fudge of West Frankfort, Illinois, Holly Manning of Galatia, Illinois; his grandparents Patricia Stechkober of Mt. Carroll, Linda Lorenz of Arizona, and Lonnie Manning of Creal Springs, Illinois; and his Great Grandmother of Creal Springs; a niece and nephew Allison, and Steven.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandfather John Stechkober, an uncle Dean Glaum, and a cousin Jeremy Glaum.
