Jeffrey Carlisle

Jeffrey Carlisle, age 49, of Thomson, Illinois died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa. Cremation rites have been accorded with a private family memorial gathering being held at a later date.
Jeff was born October 27, 1966, the son of Bryan and Jill (Hess) Carlisle in Blue Island, Illinois. He loved his children and his granddaughter. They were his #1 in life. Jeff and his wife Angela were married for three years, and did everything together.
“Dad was a great guy. He loved to fish, loved his children and his granddaughter. He was always very independent. He always would take his daughters fishing and on bike rides or to the pop shop or Manny’s for cheese balls. No matter what, his children came first. Whether it was just going for a walk by the river, or taking a ride through the State Park, he was always part of our lives. Even if we didn’t live in the same house.”
Jeff will be dearly missed by his wife Angela, two daughters, Cheyenne (Kirk Preston) Carlisle of Lanark, Illinois and Dakota Carlisle of Savanna, Illinois; two stepchildren, Danny Beasley of Clinton, Iowa and Geniva Beasley of Thomson; one granddaughter, Emerson Preston; one brother, William (Laurel) Grummitt of Savanna. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents, Bryan and Jill.
