Janis Louise Bingham

Janis Louise Bingham, age 53, of Warren, Illinois, formerly of Hanover, Illinois, died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa. Memorial Service will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2006 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Elizabeth, Illinois with a family gathering to follow in the church basement. Reverend Paul Theiss and Rev. Janis was born October 23, 1952, the daughter of Reverend Harold and Corrine (Stahlecker) Theiss, in Houston, Texas. Janis graduated from Woodstock High School, Woodstock, Illinois, Class of 1970. On April 7, 1982, Janis married Matthew Bingham in Woodstock, Illinois.
Janis enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, reading, camping, fishing and gardening. Being outdoors was a pleasure to her.
Janis will be dearly missed by husband, Matt; one son, Michael (Kim) Dunivan of Dubuque, Iowa; three daughters, Stephanie Hubbard of Stockton, Illinois; Amanda Bingham of Hanover, Illinois; Katrina (William) Longmore of Elizabeth; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Reverend Paul (Leeta) Theiss of Bay City, Michigan; Reverend Terry (Eileen) Theiss of Pecatonica, Illinois; one sister, Lyn (Bill) Richard of Platteville, Wisconsin; Janis was preceded in death by her parents; infant twins, Michael and Michele; and an infant son, Adam.
