Janet Lee Rattray née Miller, 85 years old, of Savanna, Illinois passed away March 29, 2023, at Big Meadows Nursing Home, in Savanna.
Janet loved playing the piano and spending time with her friends. She was an avid sports fan, her favorites being the Cubs, the Bears, and all things Illini. Janet was always up for good conversation and fun with her friends at Manny’s. She looked forward to monthly lunches with her Mt. Carroll High School classmates. Janet graduated Bradley University with a teaching degree and was a kindergarten teacher for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Linda (Jim) Froy. Grandchildren Faere (Brad) Watson, Jordan Speer, Charlotte (Allen) Piper, Alex Froy and Emma Froy. Great Grandchildren Jane Watson and Anne Watson.
Janet is preceded in death by her daughter Susan Mangler and grandson Eric Coats.
The family will be having a private graveside service.
