James L Bauer of Miles, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 5th, at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of James life will be held at a later date.
James was born April 12th, 1952, son of Merlin and Betty Lou (Meyer) Bauer. He graduated from Marquette High School with the class of 1971. James liked to spend his time hunting and fishing. When he wasn't out in the timber he loved watching Nascar races. James was an avid animal lover. He had pets throughout his life including many dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, and many more.
James will be dearly missed by his three children, Jody Lee (Tiffany Ann) Bauer of Kirkland, Illinois, Jeremy (Jennifer) Bauer of St. Peters, Missouri, and Samantha Bauer of Pittsburg, California; six grandchildren; and his sister, Carol (John) Zeimet of Dubuque, Iowa.
