Howard "Howie" L. Remrey

Howard "Howie" L. Remrey, age 47, of Mineral Point, Wisconsin, died on Sunday, July 22, 2007 in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll, Illinois with Reverend David Vidler of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mount Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery in rural Savanna, Illinois. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home in Mount Carroll. A memorial fund has been established in Howie's memory.
Howie was born on February 5, 1960, the son of Boyd W. and RuthAnn (Palmer) Remrey in Freeport, Illinois. He graduated from Mount Carroll High School with the class of 1978.
Howie owned his own milk route and delivered milk to Stockton Cheese Incorporated in Stockton, Illinois for twenty five years. He enjoyed collecting toy tractors and gardening. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and tinkering with cars and trucks. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his daughter, Lizzie.
Howie will be dearly missed by his parents, Boyd and RuthAnn Remrey of Savanna; one daughter, Lizabeth Paige Remrey of Baraboo, Wisconsin; one brother, Bryan (Angie) Remrey of Shannon, Illinois; one sister, Brenda (Steve) Getz of Savanna, and four nephews, Aaron, Andrew, Jacob and John.
