Harold Maupin

Harold J. Maupin age 61, of Rock Falls, Illinois passed away on Friday, August 4, 2006 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, Illinois. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at the Springlake Cemetery, Savanna, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
Harold was born on April 8, 1945, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Clifford and Mary (Moore) Maupin. Harold married Judy Fleck on December 6, 1980, in Princeton, Illinois.
Harold worked for the Swiss Colony. He enjoyed fishing and attending area car shows. He was proud of his 1981 Chevy Caprice Coupe, taking it to many car shows. Harold raised tropical birds and loved to cook. He also loved his dog, Bounty.
Harold is survived by his wife, Judy Maupin of Rockford, Illinois; one son, Markley J. Maupin of Savanna, Illinois; one daughter, Joy Maupin of Savanna, Illinois; one brother, Duane (Judy) Maupin of Apple River, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, and one grandson, Brandon.
