Gregg "Gj" T. O'Bryant Jr.

Gregg “GJ” T. O’Bryant Jr., 17, of Sabula, Iowa, died Monday, September 26, 2011, after a car accident in rural Sabula. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Miller – Law – Jones Funeral Home in Preston, Iowa. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family.
GJ was born April 25, 1994, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the son of Gregg and Lorna (Ralston) O’Bryant Sr.. He was currently a Senior at Northeast Alternative High School and would be graduating in November of this year.
GJ had many hobbies, he enjoyed working on cars and loved to hunt, especially pheasant and deer. He enjoyed working and driving tractors on the Struve Family Farm in Hauntown, Iowa. Most importantly, GJ loved hanging out with his friends and family. He had a loving heart and was always willing to help others when he could.
GJ will be dearly missed by his parents, Gregg and Lorna O’Bryant of Sabula, Iowa; three brothers, Jeff, David, and Jeremiah; three sisters, Charity, Cortney, and Patrisha; his maternal grandparents, Shirley and John Riordan of Monmouth, Iowa; his paternal grandfather, John O’Bryant of Clinton, Iowa; and many other family members and friends.
