In 2007 it was time to bring Friedel to Savanna, to live with her niece Heidi (Bill) David. In March of 2010 she went to live at Big Meadows in Savanna until her death.
Friedel will be dearly missed by her three nieces, Heidi (Bill) David of Savanna, Barbel Ernst, Margit Litsinger and one nephew, Bernd Liskinger, all of Germany.
