Frances M. Weber was a devoted homemaker, who enjoyed taking care of her family especially her grandchildren. She entered into eternity at the age of 85 on Saturday, February 01, 2014 at Presence St. Joseph in Freeport, Illinois. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on February 10, 2014 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chadwick, Illinois, followed by a luncheon gathering at the Church. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will take place in Chadwick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chadwick.
Frances was born July 23, 1928 the daughter of Charles and Caroline (Johnson) Hartman in Chadwick. She graduated from Chadwick High School. On July 31, 1949 Frances married Eugene E. Weber at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chadwick. When Frances wasn’t taking care of her family she was hauling students around in her school bus from Chadwick, Milledgeville and Thomson School Districts. Frances was a life long member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chadwick and sang in the church choir for over fifty years.
Frances will be dearly missed by one son, Terry (Jane) Weber of Keller, Texas; a daughter, Debra (Bill) Palmquist of Freeport; 5 grandchildren, Rachel (Kevin) O'Dell, Adam (Joan) Weber, Catie Weber, Ryan and Sarah Palmquist; 4 great grandchildren, Jason O'Dell, Christopher Weber, Allison Weber, and Kadence Sugg. Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; both parents; and a sister LaVonne Aude Schlagenhaufen.
