Florence E Rohr

Florence E. Rohr age 98, of Thomson, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Mercy Living Center North in Clinton, Iowa. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Thomson. Burial will take place in Lower York Cemetery, Thomson. A visitation will be held from 11:00 – 12:00 noon p.m., on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Thomson.

Florence was born November 6, 1919, in Grand Mound, Iowa, the daughter of James and Nellie (Shawver) Henzen. Florence married Wayne E. Rohr on February 22, 1941 in Clinton. Wayne passed away April 3, 2004. Florence worked for a Photographic Studio, as a Photo Finisher in Clinton.

Florence enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and working cross-word puzzles.

Florence is survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, five sisters and a brother.
