Ella Caroline Kruse Naeve

Ella Caroline Kruse Naeve, age 87, of Sabula, Iowa, died Monday, March 6, 2006. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2005 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Sabula, Iowa. Memorials may be given to the family in Ella’s name. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Sabula, Iowa.
Ella was born January 5, 1919, the daughter of Charles and Mathilda "Tillie" Bell Kruse on the family farm near Fulton, Illinois. In 1938, Ella married Orin C. Naeve, Sr. in Clinton, Iowa. Orin passed away in 1967. Ella was educated at Frog Pond Country School near Fulton.
She worked at several nursing homes, hospitals, restaurants and the Sabula Speaker Factory.
Ella loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She very much enjoyed taking care of her animals and her garden.
Ella is survived by her three sons, Orin (Sheryl) Naeve, Jr. of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Richard (Sherri) Naeve of Clinton, Iowa and Donald (Sue) Naeve of Sabula, Iowa; six granddaughters, Erica, Toni, Nikki, Julie, Deyenna and Denise; two grandsons, Dillon and Mark; fourteen great grandchildren, one sister, Betty Rathje of Sabula and one brother, Charles Kruse, Jr. of Maquoketa, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Ron and Lorin; one brother, Carl; one sister, Marian and one grandson, Brian.
