Elenor Mae Paisley

Elenor Mae Paisley was born in Savanna, Illinois on February 6, 1937 to Harmon Yenney and Margarete (Trude) Yenney. She passed from this life to rejoin her parents and family on October 17, 2020 at Allure of Mt. Carroll in Mt. Carroll, Illinois.

Born to a small but loving family, Elenor was raised to love life and never take anything she had for granted. She was a very loving and caring daughter and sister who grew to be a wonderful mother of four.

Elenor was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Savanna, IL. and never missed a chance to sit down with a cup of coffee and catch up with family and friends. A loyal and lifelong fan of both Elvis Presley and Daniel O’Donnell, Elenor loved to sit and listen to her favorite singers while dancing along.

An absolutely beloved and revered mother and grandmother, Elenor was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon and Margarete Yenney, brother Harmon Yenney, sisters Margarete and Clara Yenney, and a grandson, Augustus Paisley. She is survived by her sister Ruby Wright, her children John Henry Yenney of Olathe, KS. , Charles Paisley Jr. (Teresa) of Thomson, IL., Harmon Paisley (Mindy) of Sandwich, IL., and Emily Onnen of Manila, AR. She will be forever remembered and loved by her 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Visitation services will be held at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, IL. on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral services will be at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, IL. on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 am with graveside services to follow at Center Hill Cemetery between Savanna and Mt. Carroll, IL. Family and close friends are invited to remember and celebrate Elenor’s life in exactly the way she would have wanted, together.
