Edeltraud Pociecha

Edeltraud Pociecha, age 67, of Mt. Carroll, died Monday, February 27, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center-North in Clinton, Iowa. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2006 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll. Friends may call from 1:00-2:00p.m. Friday, March 10, 2006 prior to the Memorial Service. Edeltraud will be laid to rest next to her husband, Ronald in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Edeltraud was born December 13, 1938 in Berlin,Germany. During her school years she blossomed into a talented artist. Edeltraud painted beautiful scene scapes which included Castles in Berlin and her personal favorite, the "Last Supper". In Berlin she met Ronald W. Pociecha, they married and he brought her to the United States. Ronald passed away July 12, 1991. Edeltraud was an accomplished seamstress, she made Altar Banners and Altar Linens for her church.
Edeltraud is survived by one sister in-law, Beverly (Melvin) Hohn; three brothers in-law, John (Pat) Pociecha; Thomas (Helen) Pociecha and William (Karen) Pociecha; one aunt, Julianna Muszumanski; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Edeltraud is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald and one son, Michael.
