Dwight A. Vought, 84, of Elizabeth, IL died Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was born June 13, 1940 in Mulkeytown, IL.
Dwight loved his three daughters, Diana (Donald), Pamela, and Anita (deceased). He had six grandchildren, Christina (Bob), Jonathon (Shannon), Jennifer (Cameron), Michael (Nikki), Ryan, Sarah and ten great grandchildren.
Dwight had an 8th grade education, started a successful business with screw machines, and retired at the age of 47. He bought his dream property in Elizabeth and built his earth home, which he loved. He always reminded us of how “cheap he could live in his earth home”.
He was a very independent man and loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and loved fishing.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Law Jones Funeral Home. His ashes will be spread over the property he loved and called home.
Dad we love you, and you will always be missed, thank you for loving us.
