Donald Sipe

Donald James Sipe age 20, of Mt. Carroll, Illinois passed away at home on Thursday, January 5, 2017. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Mt. Carroll. A memorial gathering will be held from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service. A memorial fund has been established in Donald’s memory.
Donald was born January 28, 1996 in Sterling, Illinois, the son of Donald Sipe and Misty Schoenhaar. He attended West Carroll High School and graduated with the Class of 2015. Donald worked for Zickau Construction in Mt. Carroll.
Donald was most comfortable being outside, riding dirt bikes, 4-wheeling, cutting wood, camping, bonfires. He was an avid hunter and loved hunting deer, squirrel, rabbit, dove, coyote, and frogging.
Donald will be dearly missed by his daughter, Harper; mother, Misty (John Heffelfinger) Feary of Savanna, Illinois; Father, Donald (India) Sipe of Mt. Carroll; five brothers, Robert (Kendra) Sipe of Savanna, Chris (Megan) Klein of Savanna, Darion Sipe of Savanna, Dalton (Allison) Sipe of Mt. Carroll, Dillion Sipe of Mt. Carroll; five sisters, Mara (Matt) Evans of Savanna, Kayla (Craig) Varner of Savanna, Tarah (Cody) Sipe of Freeport, Illinois, Chelsea Klien of Mt. Carroll, Tamzie Feary of Savanna; paternal grandma, Linda Sipe of Mt. Carroll; maternal grandparents, Richard (Kathy) Schoenhaar of Mt. Carroll; and his girlfriend, Mary Rannow. Donald was preceded in death by his grandpa’s, Charles Sipe and Bob Sipe; step-grandma, Vicki Bumphrey and a cousin, Devin Johnson.
