Donald enjoyed spending much of his free time attending the various sporting events of his grandchildren and helping out on the family farm. In later years he enjoyed spending time with the guys over coffee and ice cream.
Don is survived by his wife, Verna Mae; children, Sue Ellen (Larry) Boelkins, David (Linda) Queckboerner, Douglas Queckboerner and Steven (Holly) Queckboerner, all in Chadwick, and stepchildren, Paula Shippee of Baltimore, Maryland and Larry (Arva) Shippee of LaGrange, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grand children; and a sister, Alice Adolph of Chadwick.
