Donald E. "Donnie" Davis, Ii

Donald E. “Buck” Davis II, age 39, of Thomson, Illinois died suddenly on Sunday, November 27, 2011, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident. Cremation rites will be accorded and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Donnie was born on October 31, 1972, the son of Donald and Marjorie (Meighan) Davis in Kansas City, Kansas. He attended Clinton High School and later earned his GED. Donnie married Jennifer Christy on October 31, 2006 in Peoria, Illinois. Donnie worked for various construction companies throughout the area. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting morel mushrooms. Donnie enjoyed working on 4x4 trucks and spending time with his two dogs, Scrappy and Monkey.
Most of all, Donnie loved spending time with his family and friends. Donnie will be dearly missed by his wife, Jennifer of Thomson; two children, Marjorie “Maggie” Davis and Brandon Randall; five step-children; Jasimen, Shawn, Bryan, Rayejean and Jack; his parents, Donald and Marjorie Davis of Clinton; one brother, Jim (Nancy) Schmidt of Rincon, GA; one sister, Wendy Davis of Rock Island, Illinois; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donnie was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
