Donald E. Bauch

Donald Edward Bauch, 79, of Mt. Carroll, Illinois, died Thursday, March 2, 2006 at Stephenson Nursing Center, Freeport, Illinois.
He was born May 8, 1926 to Clement and Priscilla (Davis) Bauch in Freeport. Don and Mary L. Lindgren were married in 1947 in Freeport. He graduated from Freeport High School with the Class of 1945.
Don was a member of the Mt. Carroll United Methodist Church. He owned and operated Bee Line Ready Mix in Mt. Carroll from 1956 to 1991 when he retired.
He enjoyed playing cards, gardening, traveling and making something from nothing. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, two daughters, Barbara (William) Sparboe, Mt. Carroll, Deborah (David) Seibert, Atlanta, Ga., and one son, Timothy (Candie) Bauch, Mt. Carroll; six grandchildren; three brothers, Robert (Rosemary) Bauch of Freeport, William (Margaret) Bauch of Pecatonica, Illinois and Davis (Carol) Bauch of Pecatonica; and one aunt, Eva Bauch of Freeport.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, Elizabeth Lavicka; and his brother, Stanley Bauch.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Frank-Law-Jones
Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll with Rev. Mark Harkness officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Mt. Carroll.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, at Frank-
Law-Jones Funeral Home, corner of Highway 64 and East St., Mt. Carroll.
A memorial fund has been established in Don’s name.
