Don Lowe

Don Lowe age 64, of Mt. Carroll, Illinois died Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the Morrison Community Hospital in Morrison, Illinois. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial fund has been established in Don’s memory, memorials may be sent to the Don Lowe Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 309, Savanna, Illinois 61074.
Don was born January 11, 1952 in Jellico, Tennessee, the son of Jake and Faye (Kennedy) Lowe. On October 28, 1972, Don married Joanne Farthing in DeKalb, Illinois. Don enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and the Chicago Cubs.
Don will be dearly missed by his wife of 43 years, Joanne of Mt. Carroll; three children, Bradly (Colleen) Lowe of Sycamore, Illinois, Donavon Lowe of Brooklyn, New York, Michael (Jeana) Lowe of Mt. Carroll; four grandchildren, Anna, Lydia, Trent, Jake; three great-grandchildren; mother, Faye Taylor of Winter Haven, Florida; two brothers, Wayne (Shiela) Lowe of Winter Haven, Wade (JoAnn) Lowe of Sycamore; two sisters Patsy Tirado, Wanda (Ed) Harvel of DeKalb and a daughter in-law, Emily Lowe of DeKalb. Don was preceded in death by his father, Jake.
