Dianna L. Gregorich

Dianna Lynn Gregorich , age 59, of Preston, Iowa died Friday, April 29, 2011 at her home in rural Preston. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Preston. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Sugar Creek, Iowa. A memorial fund has been established in Dianna’s memory.
Dianna was born on March 7, 1952, the daughter of Harold and Veronica “Peggy” (Sterbenz) Kinney in Maquoketa, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Preston High School. She married Lawrence Gregorich, Sr. on April 18, 1970 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Preston.
Dianna was a loving mother who loved taking care of her family. Dianna and Larry were devoted parents and blessed with eleven children. Dianna treasured every moment she spent with her family. After the youngest went to Kindergarten, Dianna went to work outside of the home for DAC, Inc, in Preston for twelve years. Dianna was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, her dogs and especially her Koi pond.
Dianna will be dearly missed by her husband, Larry; her children, Jason (Cheryl Clark ) Gregorich, Jodi (Steve) Christof, Joana (Jeremy) Graves, David (Candida) Gregorich, John (Becky) Gregorich, Jim (Renee) Gregorich, Janey Galant, Pattijean (Curt) Roling, Kimberly (Kevin) Simmons, Liana Gregorich and Brad Gregorich; many grandchildren, three sisters, Carol Pinter, Sherri Kinney and Pat (Dick) Roth; and one brother, David (Joy) Kinney.
Dianna was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Peggy; two brothers, Johnny and Rodney Kinney; and one grandson, Bryan Gregorich.
