Diane Getz 57 of rural Mount Carroll passed away July 11, 2010, at her home with her family by her side. There will be a private family gathering to lay Diane to rest after cremation rites are accorded.
Diane was born in Savanna September 6, 1952, in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Delmer and Norma (Strubb) Kradle. Diane married Harold Getz on August 10, 1969. Diane worked as a waitress and a cook in Mount Carroll for many years. She cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. Diane will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Diane is survived by her husband Harold Getz of Mount Carroll, Illinois; two daughters, Julie (Brad) Bergman and granddaughter Ashley, of Stockton, Illinois, and Barbara (Tom) Gilbert and grandson Brian of Mount Carroll; and one aunt, Ruth Brown of Thomson, Illinois.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents Delmer and Norma Kradle and a brother Richard.
