Delores Frances (Guerra) Norvell, age 51, of Sterling, Illinois died, Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Sterling Community General Hospital, Sterling, Illinois. Delores was born, October 12, 1954 in Newnan, Georgia, the daughter of Reverend John Lee and Rose Marie (Vaughan) Gaskins. She worked as a secretary in a retail antique business in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Delores enjoyed dancing and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
Delores will be dearly missed by her mother, Mrs. Rose Marie Gaskins of Monrovi, Indiana; a daughter, Tabatha Jones of Ohio; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Elizabeth Gaskins of Mt. Carroll, Illinois and Catherine Lynn Coy of Indianapolis, Indiana. Delores is preceded in death by a son, David Lee Jones; her father; a brother, Bobby Gaskins; a sister, Betty Jane Gaskins; and a nephew, Blake.
