Debra Ruth Ann Lindstrom

Debra Ruth Ann Lindstrom, age 65, of rural Chadwick, Illinois, passed away at home Friday, March 16, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Memorials may be made for the Carroll County Humane Society in honor of Debra’s love for animals.

Debra was born December 7, 1952 in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Kyle and Bernadine (Randall) McGinnis. She is a graduate of the Thomson High School with the Class of 1971. On September 7, 1974, Debra married Wayne Lindstrom at the United Methodist Church, Thomson, Illinois.

Debra was a homemaker and enjoyed time with her grandchildren. Her favorite holiday was Halloween, she enjoyed decorating and scary movies. Debra was a die-hard Cubs and Bears fan. It meant the world for her to see the Cubs win the championship.

Debra will be dearly missed by her husband, Wayne Lindstrom of Chadwick; a son, Wade Lindstrom of Thomson, Illinois; two step-daughters, Charlotte (Daniel) Stoehr of Freeport, Illinois and DeeAnn (Marty) Heinrich of Pearl City, Illinois; 6 grandchildren, Sam, Ty and Adeline Stoehr, Erika and Paige Lindstrom, and Brady Heinrich; and two brothers, Rick (Coleen) McGinnis and Sam (Betty) McGinnis, both of Thomson, Illinois. Debra is preceded in death by her brother, Denny McGinnis and both parents.
