Debra S. Kradle, age 53, of Savanna, Illinois, died Friday, April 8, 2011, at her home in Savanna. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. Burial of her cremated remains will be held in the Savanna Township Cemetery, Savanna. A gathering will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in Debra’s memory.
Debra was born on October 6, 1957, the daughter of Blaine E. and Florence B. (Gilbert) Yates in Savanna. She attended Savanna High School and was proud that she later obtained her G.E.D. Debra married Abraham Garibay-Mendoza in 1978. She then married Scott Kradle and they were later divorced.
Debra was a Certified Nurses Assistant for many years, specializing in in-home care. She loved playing games, especially Phase 10, Skip-Bo and Farkle. She enjoyed the outdoors, Cordova Dragway Park and playing pool on the women 's pool league. Debra also loved going to the beach with her children and simply sitting in the sun. Most of all, Debra treasured spending time with her family and friends.
Debra will be dearly missed by two sons, Adam (Denise) Garibay of Corpus Christi, Texas and Anthony (Megan) Garibay of Savanna; two daughters, Sera Kradle and Kristy Kradle, both of Savanna; eight grandchildren, Katelyn, Alysia, Cadin, Kaleb, Kylee, Izaiah, Alexander and Bryson; and one brother, Gary (Dana) Baglin of Savanna.Debra will also be missed by her adopted grand kids Allissa, and Brett. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blaine and Florence.
