Deborah “Debbi” Lauder, age 57, of Lanark, Illinois passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind three loving children, a daughter, Bailey (Matt Young) Lauder of Genoa City, Wisconsin, Braden Lauder of Morris, Illinois and Blake (Jacqueline Rigsby) Lauder of Carbondale, Illinois; and a loving sister, Kelly Miller of Lanark. Her mother Donna (Kroviak) Studlo precedes her in death.
Debbi was born January 12, 1964 in Naperville, Illinois. After growing up in the Chicago area, Debbi moved to Elkhorn, Wisconsin in the late 1980s and worked in Whitewater, as a caretaker in a group home. She later moved to Lanark in 1999. While in Lanark, Debbi worked as Manager of her apartment building.
Her real love, besides her kids, were animals. Her unique character showed when she named her pets, Sir Marten Chubbs - the bunny, Baby Squryl – the bearded dragon, and Bella – her precious dog. She also enjoyed loud music, riding Harleys, crime shows on TV, and loved to read. She quite enjoyed talking with her best friend Korey Koeller.
Debbi chose to give a gift of donation, of her body, to the nationally-known, University of Tennessee Forensic Anthropology Center for Research. Law Jones is in charge of arrangements and extended family and friends are invited to connect with each other and share in Debbi’s life at
